I want to bet

If you want to bet in a market, you will need some xDAI tokens. If you don't have those tokens, you can check the section of getting xdai in the gnosis chain.

Now that you already have xDAI, you are ready to go and bet in your preferred market. Just as a reminder, you can only bet in active markets, that means that is a market where none of their events have begun. In the dApp, you will be able to filter the markets by its status, in this case active, so you can focus only on the available markets.

It’s important that you analyze if you want to participate in a market that it’s verified or not. This verification implies that the market has passed a set of requirements that we have set, and the community has reviewed it. This will mean that the market has their parameters well configured, that the events are public and valid events. We already decided that this is our market, so we connect our wallet (if we haven’t done already) from the upper right corner. Then we push the “Place Bet” button, and the list of events of this market will appear so we can choose our winning options.

After all our predictions are completed, we have to push the Place Bet button one more time, and the transaction will pop up in our wallet to confirm the transaction in the blockchain.
