Minimum requirements

To be able to participate in prode.eth you will need 3 things:

• A personal wallet. We don’t support exchange wallets, so use one where you own your keys. For example you can use metamask.

• xDAI token to pay the gas fees in the Gnosis chain and to bet in the markets. xDAI is the DAI token (stablecoin pegged to USD dollar) in the Gnosis chain.

• Eager to participate!

Blockchain wallets are applications that let you interact with different blockchains. Think of it like an internet banking app – without the bank. Your wallet lets you read your balance, send transactions and connect to applications. You need a wallet to send funds and manage your tokens. Your wallet is only a tool for managing your blockchain account. That means you can swap wallet providers at any time. Many wallets also let you manage several blockchain accounts from one application. That's because wallets don't have custody of your funds, you do. They're just a tool for managing what's really yours.

Get xDAI in gnosis chain

To be able to bet in the prode.eth markets and pay the gnosis network fees, you would need xDAI in the gnosis chain (former xdai chain). xDAI is the native token of the chain and it’s the bridged version of the DAI stablecoin pegged to USD dollar developed by Maker Protocol. You can get xDAI in different ways, we provide you some links with information that could be useful. prode.eth is not related to any of these protocols, this information i's available online and copied here as information for our users. Please review and do a proper investigation before using any of these platforms.

• You can purchase Dai on Ethereum (uniswap for example) or another chain and use a bridge to get the xDAIs in the gnosis chain. You can find different bridges that support gnosis chain in degridges.com

• You can buy xDai with zero fees and no KYC directly at Mt Pelerin.

• xDai stable token direct purchases are now available with Ramp.
